Thank you for taking the time to visit our website!
Across our Trusts we have five excellent schools - and nobody wants to do anything to detract from the brilliant work that is being undertaken in each of them.
The job of any Trust Board is, however, to secure the life chances of the children who attend its schools both now and into the future. To sustain our development and achieve our aims into the future, it is becoming increasingly clear that we can achieve more together - but the informal arrangements we have at the moment are not enough.
After much thought and discussion, both Trust Boards have decided that a formal merger would be incredibly beneficial. It will help unlock further benefits. These include:
One of the prime reasons why both boards have agreed to proceed is that all the schools share a similar ethos and approach. Equally, we also face similar opportunities and challenges, and a merger will enable leaders and trustees to understand each other’s issues, benchmark performance and to find solutions within.
This decision has not been taken lightly, but has been discussed and considered extensively by the Trust Board and the Headteachers of the five Trust schools.
We feel confident that the arrangements being co-constructed will support, challenge, sustain and improve further outcomes for our children. Our aims as the Chairs have always stayed the same - to simply try our best for the staff and children we serve by using the resources currently at our disposal to enable teaching and learning to thrive.
By joining together, we increase our chances of maximising resources and safeguard our chances of ensuring the excellent job our amazing staff do can continue into the future.
